A retired bilingual secretary, Mogian Doralice Ramos has a long history with the arts. Sister of Wilma Ramos, a well-known plastic artist in the city and who died in 2009, she started painting in 1973, but more as a hobby than a profession. Now, however, she takes art more seriously.
When she started to paint, Doralice used to go to São Paulo with her sister. In the Capital, they exhibited and sold their work in squares. The first exhibition he participated in took place in 1978, at the Salon de Artes Plásticas in Itu. The Mogiana lived in the United States and also in Portugal, between 1985 and 1990, places where she also had the opportunity to show and sell her paintings.
